New Delhi (TES): For a long time, online scammers have been trying new ways to steal users' bank account details. Talking about cybercrime, the banking sector has been its biggest target. Due to the increasing incidence of online fraud in banking, there are also fast-growing digital payments in the country.
The country's largest bank State Bank of India (SBI) has shared some tips on its Twitter account for internet banking transactions.
In this 45-second video, SBI has described the steps to secure online banking. Even before this, SBI has been continuously providing tips for safe net banking to its customers.
If you get a fraud call, email, and text in which you are asked to make personal information or urgent payment.

SBI has advised users using net banking to file cases of banking cyber fraud either with the National Cyber. Crime Reporting Portal (https://cybercrime.gov.in/) or with the police. Apart from this, the country's largest government bank says that it does not ignore even the smallest incident of cybercrime and immediately reports it to the concerned authorities.
SBI has written in its tweet, 'Be careful and informed and protect yourself from cyber-criminals. Learn what you can do to be safe. Let us tell you that the free offer for more details is a national cybercrime reporting portal, an initiative of the Government of India, under which victims/complainants can file cybercrime complaints online. This portal works under the supervision of the Ministry of Home Affairs of the country.
