Another step has been taken in the direction of repairing the road network in Bihar. Four-lane construction of four major roads of the state has been agreed. For this, NHAI has also duly issued the tender.

392 km of roads will be fore lane
Bihar's Road Construction Minister Nand kishore Yadav said that the National Highways Authority of India has issued a tender for four-laning of four major roads in the state. Under this, 392 km of roads will be fore lane. 76 billion 40 crore 35 lakh rupees are estimated to be spent on this scheme. The land acquisition required for the construction of these four paths has almost been completed. Four-lane widening of all projects will start as soon as the tender process is completed. 

Which roads cost how much:

1. Rajauli-Bakhtiyarpur Fore lane: 98.12 km long road from Bakhtiyarpur to Rajauli will be forelane. It will cost 27 billion 33 crore 39 lakh rupees. The last date for receiving the tender for this is 11 August.

2. Patna-Gaya-Dobhi Fore lane: The road going from the capital Patna to Dobhi is also being fore lane. For the widening of 127.22 km of road from Patna to Dobhi, it will cost Rs 17 billion 51 crore 22 lakh. Tender process for this has been completed.

3. Ara-Mohania Fourlane: A 119.83 km long road from Ara to Mohania Road will also be made a fore lane. About 12 billion 31 crore 11 lakh rupees will be spent in its widening. The last date for filing the tender for this is 7 August. 

4. Narayanpur-Purnia Fourlane: 47.04 km long road from Narayanpur to Purnia is also being forelane. It will cost 13 billion 24 crores and 6 lakh rupees to build fore lane. The last date of tender for this is 11 August.
